Rain, Rain Go Away Come Again Some Other Day

Rain! We've had alot of that here in northern CA. Sometimes we want it to go away and bring the sun. We get bored, we're stuck inside. I wouldn't want to do without it though. Rain gives life to all kinds of things. Rain cleanses the earth and washes away impurities. Rain is nourishment. Rain is inspiring! I know your saying to yourself -how is rain so inspiring? Well for me it's the smell of clean air as the rain swept through and left it's mark. The color of the grass turning green in the winter. (yes it's brown the rest of the yr. here) The wet dew on plants and leaves. Yes I'm inspired and thankful for it! I hope you enjoy all the pictures with rain. Thanks Lisa over at Destination Seaborn for hosting this wonderful Aspire to Inspire day! I hope you had something that inspired you today......

Without rain, would we enjoy the sunny days as much? Thanks for the inspiration!

Love the pictures! Do you take them yourself? We get a lot of snow where I am so I'd be happy to have rain. I always love to sit with a cup of tea and watch the rain nourish the earth. It's a good reason to slow down and rest a bit. :-)
Thanks for stopping by today. No worries about comments. I completely understand the move. I'll be out of the blog social network soon as our little bambino comes. I'm sure I'd rather sleep & adjust to baby #2.
The beauty of blogging is you can do it when inspiration comes. I wish you the best in your moving efforts.
Have a beautiful day!

Your pool in Valley Springs was gorgeous. It must have been very difficult to leave it behind. We sold our last house before I was really ready to. Guess it's time to make new memories. I hear we are in for some sun this weekend. Hooray! I am so ready.

We are all the way in New York and it snowed 18 inces out our door today. I feel the same way about snow as I do rain...as long as it is out of a wondow and not on my head I ADORE it.
